At The Dillard Tax Group we enjoy helping entrepreneurs who want to build a successful business while keeping their costs low.   To start your own tax business with us, consider our starter package, which is ideal for candidates who have no previous experience and are interested in obtaining training.   If you’re still unsure about working as a Certified Tax Professional due to all the IRS requirements then you’re able to work with our company as a Data Entry Preparer with this Basic Starter Package.    When selecting this package our candidate will complete data entry only on their clients until the affiliate become familiar with preparing an adequate tax return via our online training class.   You will not be able to sign off on your client’s return however you will have the opportunity to process and increase your knowledge base of income tax preparation.    Our office will sign off on each and every return you submit and process and you will receive a full percentage for just completing data entry.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Preparer with DTG you will be able to use our reputable software which offers unlimited returns and you will be responsible for:

​

• Acquiring new clients via prospect sheet

• Completing Taxpayer’s Interview Sheet

• Keying in your client’s W2’s, 1099’s, and all Supporting Documents

• Obtaining correct documents to fax or email over to office for non-appointments  

• Obtaining accurate disbursement methods for your clients anticipated refund

• Marketing via customizable marketing materials

• Providing excellent customer service as the face of your business & ours

Ex:  A client is charged $400 x .40 = $160 which you will receive a weekly disbursement.
